Maurice Dubois has been in housing since 1965 when he designed homes for a small home building company while in college; he majored in Home Building at Trinity University in San Antonio. After working with small and large builders, he started his own home building company in Iowa in 1971; he moved his company to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1979. For 15 years he designed and built several hundred homes, developed half a dozen subdivisions, and designed and built countless remodeling projects. He has been a real estate investor for over 30 years; during the real estate crash of the 1980s he bought a good number of small homes in south Fort Worth for an average price of $1,800 each. He has been a real estate broker, first in Iowa and then in Texas, since 1975. Maurice has been writing real estate related books since the early 1980s; he’s been helping sellers and buyers to realize maximum potential with their real estate needs.
Barbara Dubois has been a real estate broker since 1980, and part of Maurice Dubois’ team since 1981. She has sold a large number of HUD and VA acquired homes as well as bank REO properties. She has been very effective in working with lenders on short sale properties. Barbara graduated from the University of North Texas with a BS in Home Economics.
John Dubois has been a licensed real estate agent since 1993 and part of Maurice Dubois’ team since 1993. He also designs new and remodeling projects in the extreme high-end, luxury home market. John is an accomplished jazz pianist and has played with jazz orchestras in the U.S. and Switzerland. John graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Masters in Architecture.
Carol Thimesch has been a licensed real estate agent since 1991 and part of Maurice Dubois’ team since 1991. She has sold a large number of HUD and VA acquired homes and is extremely adept at helping home owners and investors in acquiring homes at extreme discounts.
Deirdre Craig has been a licensed real estate agent since 2003 and has been on Maurice Dubois’ team since 2000. She is an expert property manager and has been directing the management of rental and owner financed properties for several companies that the team manages. She works with buyers and sellers in addition to her duties in the property management field.
